晚上回飯店時在櫃檯遇到了一些領取鑰匙的狀況。 飯店人員請我寫下名字來確認房間號碼，好像沒有很認真仔細地對當晚飯店入住的名字清單，又直接拿清單請我找名字點出來。點出來後沒有 Double Check，誤以為是欄位上方的客房，告知我鑰匙已經被朋友拿走了。有一點一臉矇，然後服務人員直接拿起電話請我和那個客房的人講電話，都一直沒有和我確認房間號碼。感覺對其他客房的人造成的莫名的困擾。
下午前入住時服務的櫃檯小姐很冷靜專業， 親切地幫忙提取行李、詢問司機是否能載我們到附近的景點和協助預定隔天的巴士車票。 也有人負責帶位解說飯店內設施和注意事項，讓人覺得是訓練有素且注重客人心情的旅店。

戶外溫泉很舒適
1.旅館在山坡上四週有樹林所以免不了有蟲進到房間，我們遇到小蜘蛛及蛾各一隻。 2.日式房間有點老舊，房間有一部份區域(類似簷廊)鋪設了地毯但已經很舊，如果不敢光腳踩可能要自備拖鞋在這個區域穿(但請注意穿任何鞋都絕對不能踩上他他米)。 3.網頁上說明不太清楚，所以不知道可以預約接駁從車站去旅館，我們是招計程車上去的。旅館從地圖上看起來離車站很近，但在山坡上，拖著行李不適合走上去。
1.兩個室外溫泉浴池都非常棒，建議兩個都找時間去泡一下。 2.早餐及晚餐很貴但物有所值。 3.有會說中文及英文的工作人員，溝通上很方便。 4.從車站到旅館來回都有接送服務。 5.附近主要景點幾乎都是步行可到。

Super relaxing stay!! - feel the nature
お風呂場に櫛がないという情報を聞いていなかったので、予め聞いておきたかった / wish I was informed there's no hair comb at onsen so that I could bring from the room
- 部屋で食事ができた / dinner was served in the room - 目の前が竹林になっており、夜は虫の音が聞こえる素敵な部屋だった / bamboo forest was right infront of the window, and could hear sound of crickets at night time - 木々を眺めながら入れる露天風呂がまさに'森林浴'で最高にくつろげた / one of the Rotemburo (outside hot-spirngs) was literally next to trees and super relaxing - 送迎担当の方が、手が空いているからということで鼓ヶ滝まで送ってくださり、道中現地の様々な情報を提供してくださった / a person in charge of driving voluntarily drove me to the Tsuzumigataki waterfall as he got some free time. on the way to the waterfall he provided me some local info in Japanese 一人旅だったのでスタッフの方々の優しさが身にしみました。 / I stayed at Arima Onsen area for the first time alone but really enjoyed the trip thanks to friendly people working there!

Very authentic hotel
Everything is ok. Check out time is 11 am, but they keep your luggage until 1 pm only.

Best mid range onsen hotel in the area
You'll get ripped if eating dinner at hotel, not worth it at all.
Location is wonderful, one of the best. Very good hot spring inside hotel. Spacious room compared with regular hotel in Japan.

The only shower is a "public bath" and we were told to cover our tattoos which is difficult to do while showering seated on a bench with other people in the room with you. A little too traditional for us.
The in room traditionalism was great. The view from the room was amazing and it was very peaceful.

Relaxing Onsen experience with a very spacious room. Some issues communicating in English.
Staff had some trouble speaking English; I don't mind this much as we were in Japan, however we were unable to order drinks at dinner as the girl who was serving us didn't understand what we were asking. Dinner was quite disappointing as there was a lot of jelly and eel involved throughout the different courses and there were a couple of dishes that we really didn't enjoy. I was able to eat everything that was served but my friends had to leave quite a bit of their's. I was hoping for some Kobe beef as it featured in a lot of the photos on the hotel profile on Booking.com. We seemed to be some of the only westerners in the hotel so the dinner was probably just catered to different tastes. Booking.com states the hotel rating is 4 stars, however other websites state it is 3 star. This was a little misleading.
The onsen facilities were excellent and the outdoor onsen was very relaxing. Room was very spacious with comfortable futon beds. The location of the hotel was very useful as it is a short walk from the train station and bus stop.

Nice and relaxing stay - as expected !
We took the dinner in the room. It's a bit curious to mention it that way, but it was a little bit too sophisticated. My daughter (14) found it hard to enjoy as the plates were beyond her expectation and her taste. But I must also say that as an adult, I enjoyed it fully.
Nice rooms, and the "onsen" within the hotel was really great.

Hotel workers were all friendly! Because of the heavy rain, all transportations stopped so they let us stay their one day more in half price and helped us a lot for looking for possible way going back to namba station. I really feel grateful thanks to their kindness and best service with great meal. I'm sure that I'll visit here again!

This is really a very fantastic hotel!!!
The hot springs there were really great! Staffs were also very friendly to us. The hotel provided us a pick-up survice which enables us to get to the hotel immediately without climbing the hills. Mostly there are four Chinese staffs in the hotel now! They can speak Chinese, English and of course Japanese. So please don't be afraid of any communication problems. We were very glad that they could help us to book the bus ticket to Shin-Osaka. It is really a very fantastic hotel indeed!!!

Nice onsen near Kobe
It's a usual thing in "old" ryokan, but the room had a persistent smell of bamboo tatami at first. You get use to it and don't pay attention anymore after a while eventually. This the only negative thing I find to say.
Charming ! The onsen bath were amazing. The staff was pretty helpful.
